Shawn Achor: The happy secret to better work

“We believe that we should work to be happy, but could that be backwards? In this fast-moving and entertaining talk from TEDxBloomington, psychologist Shawn Achor argues that actually happiness inspires productivity.”

Shawn Achor is the CEO of Good Think Inc., where he researches and teaches about positive psychology.

OK, now for my take on this video:

This is without a doubt one of the best TED videos I’ve ever watched! And that says a lot.

Why?

Not because I’m so very smart.

Ahem! Ahem!

Well, okay, aside from that, getting back to the video:

This TED video is amazingly perceptive, amusing, insightful, and everything we should have been taught about happiness and out perception or perceptions regarding that most cherished of all emotions!

Instead of wasting another moment, take 12 minutes. You will be glad you did!

Don’t forget to let me know what you think!

John
