The Quest Revealed is the story of a journey of self-discovery. The story covers my entire working life, over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience, as well as a stint in academia, and culminating in several Internet marketing businesses, across a variety of niches.

The Quest Revealed is the summation my life’s work, a work in progress, and includes my personal, family, and business relationships. This blog is for my personal benefit, a central hub and jumping off point for all of my Internet projects. It is also for the benefit of anyone interested in getting to know me, my business, and my family on more than a 140 character at a time basis!

As of July 23, 2009, I am a 54 yr old man, a husband of more than a quarter of a century to my best friend Connie, the father of 4 awesome kids, all adults now, and the grandfather of 2 amazingly beautiful little girls. I am a disabled US Army veteran, having served in another time and seemingly another life. 1972-1973 was not a great time to have enlisted in the Army…but I am proud to have served my country.

With over 30 years experience creating and building businesses, I have had an amazing ride through life with plenty of downs and some amazing ups! I have a number of online businesses, some booming and others just gasping for air. Significantly, every one of them is part of the learning curve…a second doctorate of sorts!

I love my family, my dogs, reading, soccer, working out when I can, and physical anthropology. Being a physical anthropologist by education and avocation, I love the show “Bones” and have been to conferences and read much of the inspiration for the show, Kathy Reichs, professional and fictional material…great stuff!

I am also an ex-university professor. I graduated summa cum laude with a 3.97 GPA, a BA in history, anthropology, and psychology (triple major). I won a prestigious doctoral fellowship to one of the nation’s most competitive programs in the world to study for my PhD in physical anthropology. The consortium was made up of several top Manhattan universities, along with the American Museum of Natural History and the New York Zoological Society. My doctoral research dealt with age-progressive phenomena affecting the spine and the sacroiliac joint. I have explored the world, researched and written extensively, including taking part in National Geographic funded expeditions throughout Central America.

I am currently engaged in the creation and development of an Internet marketing consultancy, along with several other ventures, including a freelancing business known as The Ultimate Internet Image. I have a number of other online enterprises across many niches, most just getting started after several years of dealing with a debilitating injury and illness.

I am reclaiming, and rebuilding my life for myself and, more importantly, for my family! It is my intention to build something meaningful and lasting to pass on to my kids and my grandchildren. That’s why I love the book ONO Options not Obligations by Marc Warnke, it is an amazing template for building a business and a life; and, it speaks to me and has profoundly influenced my life.

If you have watched any of my YouTube videos, you know I also train top-caliber amateur and professional athletes. I have been rewarded beyond measure, my association with some of the finest boys and girls, men and women in the United States has been truly amazing!

I also own an online and in-home tutoring business, my first online business endeavor. For that reason, I leave it alone. It has a very special place in my heart and actually does quite well, in spite of the amateurish look and feel of the website! My clients, also my friends, do quite well as a result of our relationship. Just in the past 60 days I had a nursing student pass algebra with a high B after almost failing, a chemistry student with a solid D get an A on the final exam and an A in the class, and a GED student who had previously failed the test twice pass with flying colors! The tutoring business, Westside-Tutoring, is by far the most emotionally rewarding of all of my endeavors. The tutoring and coaching businesses are my favorites, my fondness for working with kids makes them my first priority, always!

Also near and dear to my heart is my work with back pain and sciatica sufferers. After 14 spine operations, and severe osteomyelitis that nearly took my life, I am on another sort of quest to reclaim my life and help others do the same. I have several back pain and sciatica blogs and websites, all dedicated to helping others reclaim a back pain and sciatica free life, or as pain free as possible anyway!

I hope that helps you understand me a little better. Please tell me about yourself either via email or Skype, anytime! I am also starting to build a substantial social media presence, so I am certain you can connect with me there…somewhere!

I happened to stumble upon your blog tonight. I am so sorry to hear about Jack, I had no idea he past away. I dated Jack in high school. We dated for over a year. The strange thing is that I found some pictures of him today. One was his football picture and the other was a picture of us at a winter formal. I am deeply saddened to hear about his suicide. I was able to talk to him a few years ago…actually via social media. I wish I knew what he was going through at the time. It just breaks my heart. I would like you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
